FUELING THE FUTURE

Hinge Studio was the design consultant to VBP Orange to imagine the function and form of gas station designs in the future. Considering both the convenience store and fuel pumping experiences, the primary design problem was to update the brand to align with the attitude of a new generation of drivers that value speed and the freedom of the open road. Hinge Studio aided in two main concepts of the gas station as a Sail and as a Jet Stream. The project underwent several conceptual versions before a design prototype was finalized, and it is now transferred to thousands of 76 Gas Stations nationwide.
