Duvall Veterinary Hospital

Hinge Studio led an extensive remodel and expansion to meet the growing needs of this veterinary practice. The project began with a detailed facility assessment and a long-term program plan. The design seamlessly connects two existing buildings—one of which was lifted—with a new addition between the structures. A redesigned roof and a spacious, mountain lodge-style porch were added to enhance the wooded Duvall, Washington setting, providing a welcoming main entry and an outdoor area for animal greetings and assessments.

The project involved an extensive Design Review, MUP, SEPA, and Permit Review process. The completed facility includes a lobby, exam rooms, treatment areas, pharmacy, lab, dental suite, surgery rooms, break room, wards, kennel rooms, morgue, laundry, storage, oxygen room, x-ray room, offices, call center, yard, and significant site improvements.
