Court keeps the gears turning at Hinge, managing our administrative operations alongside our marketing and social media presence. A Boston native who moved to Seattle in 2018, Court holds a business degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from UW’s Foster School of Business, with multidisciplinary minors in Environmental Studies and Global Health, and a Professional Sales Certificate.
After a stint in the corporate world, Court realized their creative soul needed a different kind of fulfillment. They discovered Hinge Studio through their work at the Side Rail Collective – the vibrant artist community our studio calls home. Outside of their role at hinge, Court wears many hats: they are a ceramic sculptor, a curator, a clay studio apprentice, and an avid advocate for queer, trans, and disability rights. In their “free” time, you’ll likely find Court down the hall in their private studio crafting large-scale surrealist and figurative sculptures, relaxing in nature (preferably by the water), or supporting community art events.
