This veterinary project took a former 7-11 corner store and transformed it into a modern, chic urgent care clinic. The reception area utilized the existing storefront to provide expansive daylight throughout all of the public spaces. The old tile flooring was removed exposing the concrete slab which was stained, polished, and sealed. Removal of the ceiling tiles exposed the existing wood trusses which added to this urban feel. Finally, new wood accents and neutral colors were used to round out this minimal aesthetic.
The program includes 6 exam rooms, x-ray, treatment, staff offices, 2 restrooms, and a break room, all efficiently laid out to maximize this compact footprint.
