Over the years Hinge has worked with many businesses helping them figure out how to express their brand and mission through the design of their space. Hinge has done prototype space design for brands such as Massage Envy, Nordstrom and Phillips 66 and has passed that skill along to all of our entrepreneur clients. Whether they are just starting out or a mature business, the impression that a client has when stepping into a space can set the tone for their whole experience. As part of of our predesign and discovery process, Hinge walks business owners through a process to understand how to reflect a business’s unique personality and what sets them apart from their competitors in the design of their space.
The First Greeting
The reception area creates the first impression for clients. When carefully designed a custom reception desk makes a statement about a business’ personality and brand and can increase efficiency and flow for staff. Hinge prides itself in not having one set style, but instead flexing our creativity to truly reflect the individual personalities of each business we work with.
The Cohesive Whole
The true beauty of this process comes from tying the whole package together from furniture, lighting, decor and material selection. The space should feel unified but offer individual moments that help create an experience for the client that is unique to each business.
Adding a Little Extra Love
We talk a lot at Hinge about how to bring the love into every project we do no matter the budget. One way we do that is collaborate with artists and artisans and sometimes just to roll up our sleeves to create one of a kind elements that can’t be found any where else. Whether this is a door pull, or a mural or a fun wall texture or art installation, Hinge always tries to spread the love.
