Cristine, originally from the Gulf Coast town of Sarasota, Florida, developed an early appreciation for the relationship between nature and the built environment. She earned her master’s degree from the Tulane School of Architecture in 2005, with a strong focus on sustainability and preservation. Since relocating to Seattle in 2006, Cristine has been passionately involved in hands-on design work that honors place and context. Whether exploring vernacular structures, painting landscapes en plein air, or leading cultural tours, she brings a thoughtful eye to the layers of history that shape our spaces. Each year, she leads tours through France and Spain, blending her love for travel, culture, and storytelling. When stateside, her loyal sidekick Greta—a spirited German Shepherd—is never far from her side.
