Twin Pines Animal Hospital

Hinge Studio was thrilled to help two young doctors realize their dream of opening a veterinary practice. Located in a redeveloping area near downtown Bothell, the project involved transforming an old farmhouse into a warm, functional clinic for dogs, cats, and large animals. To meet strict zoning and redevelopment requirements—and to avoid costly site and right-of-way improvements—the design preserved much of the existing structure and limited new construction to under 200 square feet. Bedrooms were converted into exam rooms, the living room became reception, and the kitchen was repurposed as the lab and pharmacy. The existing carport and garage were adapted into treatment and surgery areas. The result is a unique, character-rich clinic completed on a start-up-friendly budget.
