Hinge studio renovated the mezzanine, bathrooms and built-in banquette of this well known Seattle area restaurant. The project reconfigured a former party room and pairing bar on the mezzanine level to create flexible dining space. Brick, steel and wood were utilized to create an intimate bar and wine storage element reflective of the brand and experience in the larger restaurant. Library lights are integrated into wood dining bars along the steel railings creating a cozy perch from which diners can watch over the hustle and bustle of the larger restaurant below. Hanging screens can be installed to separate a portion of the space for private events while maintaining flexibility for everyday dining.
