Renovation for the north penthouse at the Bellevue Towers was a massive undertaking to reveal the fullest grandeur of the space, which had previously been segmented and had not taken advantage of the incredible 360-degree views. The main intervention that opened up the space was by relocating of some of the building’s infrastructure that was moving directly in the middle of the main living area. Envisioned as the ultimate entertainment space, the owner was interested in careful attention to details that exude a tailored and tastefully luxurious experience. Hinge Studio’s design responded by including custom features like a backlit CNC routed glass panel in the foyer to welcome guests into the space; custom steel doors with glass rondel inserts and custom built-ins in the wine cellar; and the relocation and consolidation of mechanical equipment to create a billiard room and bar along the whole south side of the unit.
